I can't move a single INCH without wincing in pain. Why, you ask? Well let's just say the very nice people at my school arranged soccer and hockey tryouts back to back this week. BACK. TO. BACK. Do you even understaannnd how torturous that is?! I've never felt so out of shape! I made both teams, but whether it was worth the pain I am still feeling four days later… well, that's debatable :P There's only one thing that hurts more than the physical pain I'm going through right now… I kinda got into a fight with one of my best guy friends :/ I don't really know what led to our current 'not-speaking' phase, considering we didn't exactly ARGUE over anything. He said something really insulting (via text), and when I asked why he said that he responded with "I keep forgetting that I love you. I think we have to not speak for awhile." He wouldn't answer what he meant by that either :/ Have you ever gotten into a fight with your best friend before? How bad was it… and how was it eventually fixed?
On a lighter, more DESIGN-related note, my project this week was to start an icon section. It was actually a great learning experience. Making all those little icons gave me a chance to work on my coloring and layout techniques. I was able to use some of the new PS brushes I made last week, which I thought was pretty sweet. I'll be adding on throughout the next few days!
It's been a long week, and it's just going to get rougher. I have SATs coming up in just under a week, and I'm nervous as hell. I haven't completed any practice exams, and something tells me I'm going to end up going in cold. :X Gah. Let's fast forward to spring break?

One of my best friends took time out of his free period to splatter some paint around so that I could make some Photoshop brushes for you guys – how sweet is he? Haha anyway yeah, you heard me right – PHOTOSHOP BRUSHES! Oh, and imagepacks for those non-Photoshop users. I'm so excited to finally be putting these up! Tell me what you guys think? I spent all night working on them: cutting, scanning, editing, and finally turning them into brushes. I probably should have been studying for my AP Biology test… I swear, there's no end to my procrastinating. It's actually pretty horrible, and I have no idea what to do about it. It's currently 2 AM and I haven't even touched my notes. AND I'M NORMALLY SUCH A GOOD STUDENT. I'm pretty much screwed, unless by some miracle there's a snow day :/ But weather forecasts say only about a couple of inches of snow, and my school's been open through worse.
Okay, one more thing to say and then I'm off to sleep… MGMT IS PLAYING AT BAMBOOZLE MAY 2ND!! The line up looks amazing and my friend says she can get us a ride up to New Jersey so I think that means I'M DEF GOING! Haha I just need to buy tickets and make sure my mom's cool with it, and hopefully everything will fall into place from there :D

I. Am. Absolutely. Exhausted. Funny thing is, I've only had two days of school this week. Well, three if you count color war. Color war, say whaaatt? Well, each year at my school there's a HUGE inter-grade competition in just about everything… hallway decoration, singing, sports, banner design – you name it. If you've ever gone to camp, you should know what I'm talking about – it's INSANE. My voice is still hoarse from all that cheering. School spirit… HA. I'd say it was worth it, but it wasn't lol. My grade is pathetic. Barely a quarter of the juniors actually care about winning/participate, and so we came in third place. It's left me exhausted, but it was still pretty fun. Between snow days and color war, I missed a good two weeks worth of school! But school's back to normal now :(
My body is begging me for sleep but I stayed up to make some new things for you guys. (As I'm writing this, it's about 1:30 AM.) According to google, a large % of ppl that visit this site look for contact buttons, so I've made some new grouped contact buttons, or imagemaps. The one at the top is my favorite :) You'll see why! I also updated the regular contact buttons. The rest of the updates are in the box above. Tell me if you're using anything!
