Oh So Luscious // layouts, graphics, tutorials, codes, and more.~

Here are the basics of how to use my divs.

My div layouts have two parts: one that goes in your 'About me', and one that goes in your 'I'd like to meet' section.

Open up notepad, and make 2 sections: 1, about me and 2, I'd like to meet.
Next, go back to the div, and copy the whole code in the first box (which is the 'about me' section code) by clicking inside that box, and pressing ctrl + a and then ctrl + c on your keyboard. Then go back to the document and paste this code in the section where you typed "about me". Repeat this step again, only this time for the second code (the 'I'd like to meet' section code) and pasting it into the section where you typed 'I'd like to meet' in the document.

After copying and pasting the codes, search the 'I'd like to meet' section, and replace all the words in that part of the code that say PUT YOUR FRIENDID HERE, with your friend id. To find your friend id, take a look at this tutorial.

You may only change the parts of the 'I'd like to meet' section that are typed in capital letters. NOTHING IN THE ABOUT ME CODE IS TO BE CHANGED UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING.

Capital letters in the 'I'd like to meet' code, will say either "FRIEND ID HERE" or "COMMENT BOX HERE!!!!!" - which is what you replace with a comment box code. Also, at the bottom you will find "ABOUT ME GOES HERE!!!!!!". Delete those words, and type in your about me. You can put in pictures, or words, it doesn't matter - whatever you'd like :)

REMEMBER, NOTHING IN THE CODE THAT GOES IN YOUR 'ABOUT ME' SECTION IS TO BE CHANGED! ONLY CHANGE THINGS IN YOUR 'I'D LIKE TO MEET SECTION' THAT ARE TYPED IN CAPITAL LETTERS!

LASTLY, GO TO YOUR MYSPACE HOMEPAGE, CLICK EDIT PROFILE, AND DELETE EVERYTHING IN YOUR ABOUT ME, AND I'D LIKE TO MEET, [or paste it into notepad, and save it for later]. THEN PASTE THE CODES FOR MY DIV IN THE RIGHT PLACES, AND CLICK SAVE. =]

Very good tutorial. Just one bit of advice. If I were you I’d make all the images to the dives downloadable from your site instead of having them eat up your bandwith. It goes fast especially after your layouts get really popular. Unless you’d rather spend your money on the bandwith which is fine, I just find it cheaper and better to let them use their photobucket accounts and what not. Very cool site though and I love your stuff!

i found the tuturial very useful but i came across some of the overlay layouts were different in that they had ABOUT ME, AND MUSIC instead of id like to meet, and i tried to do it the way you describe and it didnt work so if u could post a tutorial on how to use the more complicated overlay layouts, thanks
